Our story with the Ramada, a hospitality landmark in the heart of downtown Regina, is based on relationship. Following several small projects, we suggested they consider a master plan to update the look and feel of the hotel’s public spaces. When they prepared for large scale renovation, our strong connection led them back to us.
Updates included new finishes and lighting, furnishings and artwork, renovations to staff offices, new washrooms, designing sculptural artwork and custom designed new signage. In addition to aesthetic changes, functional changes were made to increase hotel revenues. Vacant hotel rooms previously used for storage became meeting rooms.
Collaboration between the design team, contractor, and client eased the decision-making process and minimized disruption to hotel guests throughout the renovation. Our on-site presence and ready accessibility has strengthened our client relationship, one we value and are proud of.
Winning the Award of Merit at the 2011 Premier’s Awards of Excellence in Design was a true honor. The hotel has consistently received positive feedback since the renovation including significantly improved ratings on Trip Advisor.
