Ryan is the Project Delivery Leader for Stantec’s North American How to green Business, consisting of a 2,200-person team delivering thousands of projects for hundreds of communities. He manages strategic projects to provide excellence in quality, service, and added value to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of our clients.
Ryan’s extensive experience with major engineering projects has given him the know how to approach a project with creative ideas and practical solutions. His philosophy to project leadership is founded on four key elements: communication, collaboration, planning, and responsiveness.
Ryan’s experience spans water/wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure through conventional and alternative delivery approaches. Highlights of his recent experience include leading the $700M wastewater expansion program at the Bonnybrook Wastewater Treatment Plant in Calgary, which is the largest cold weather BNR in the world. He also led the design of the first full scale phosphorus recovery plant in Canada at the H.M.Weir WWTP in Saskatoon. Finally, he helped deliver the $731 million Permanent Canal Closures and Pumps design-build project in New Orleans, one of the largest drainage pumping systems in the world.
