Helen specializes in roadway, drainage, and utilities design. Her background includes preliminary and detailed design of freeways, arterials, and local roadways, storm sewers, hydro utility duct banks, and site servicing projects across Canada and abroad. In her 23 years of involvement with both the public and private sectors, Helen brings to her projects well-rounded skills and her engineering commitment. She believes attention to details and commitment is critical on any project.
Some of Helen’s recent project highlights are detailed roadway geometric design of Grandview Highway Interchange, Willingdon Ave Interchange, and Cape Horn Interchange of Port Mann/Highway 1 (PMH1) improvement project. Pretty soon, Helen will work on VFPA’s Roberts Bank Terminal 2 project as a roadway design engineer to support owner’s engineer services for widening approximately 5.5 kilometres of existing causeway. The widening causeway will provide traffic access to and from proposed the Roberts Bank Terminal 2.
In her spare time, Helen enjoys reading and hiking Burnaby Mountain with friends, spending their weekends exploring the beauty of nature.
