With Asifa, it’s all about diversity. In her role as a business leader for revenue growth, she finds herself immersed in unique combinations of people, experiences, and perspectives every day. Nothing could be more rewarding for her. She actively cultivates a culture where promoting good ideas is synonymous with business success and the development of high performance individuals and teams is considered a personal responsibility. As part of the Environmental Services team, delivering services to a wide range of clients from oil and gas, mining, commercial, and the public sector, she is focused on achieving effective outcomes for clients and positive impacts for the community.
Importantly, she serves on Stantec’s Diversity and Inclusion Council where she chairs the Women’s Leadership Development committee for North America. Outside of Stantec, she has been a mentor for the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade’s Leaders of Tomorrow, a Board member for the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies for BC, and she is currently a Governor on the Business Council of BC and the Board of Governors for the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Proudly, Asifa was recognized with the Women’s Executive Network’s 2015 Canada’s Most Powerful Women Top 100 Award.
