With more than 20 years of experience in environmental assessment and permitting, Loretta has worked on a wide range of projects across a number of sectors including airports, marine facilities, oil and gas, transportation, mining, military, water, and wastewater management.
Working with teams of dedicated, experienced professionals, Loretta has led or participated in hundreds of environmental impact assessments or environmental permitting projects in eastern Canada.
A few of the projects that Loretta has contributed to include Ottawa’s Combined Sewage Storage Tunnel (two 4.4 kilometre and 1.6 kilometre tunnels designed to eliminate sewer overflows to the Ottawa River), DND’s Nanisivik Naval Facility on Baffin Island, the Sisson Mine Project, Irving Oil’s Eider Rock Refinery Project, the Charlottetown Marine Terminal Expansion, and the TransCanada Highway widening through New Brunswick.
Loretta has a passion for self-sufficient and sustainable lifestyles and activities. She enjoys loading up her bicycle and touring the countryside, and her dream is to have an energy-efficient, self-sustaining hobby farm.
